Attorney General Neronha requires changes to strategic plan for Roger Williams and Fatima hospitals

Today, Attorney General Peter F. Neronha issued the following letter to leaders of the New CharterCARE System, notifying them of deficiencies within their strategic plan and directing them to re-submit a plan to the Office of the Attorney General by October 2, 2026. As a condition of the Attorney General’s decision approving the change in ownership of the CharterCARE hospitals, the New CharterCARE System is required to develop and implement a strategic plan for the hospitals that is subject to review and approval by the Attorney General.
