Coventry man charged with second-degree child molestation

An indictment, information, or complaint is merely an allegation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. 

Attorney General Peter F. Neronha announced that a Coventry man has been charged in Kent County Superior Court with multiple counts of second-degree child molestation stemming from his arrest on April 3, 2023.

On July 14, 2023, the Office of the Attorney General charged Paul Dadamo (age 72), by way of criminal information with two counts of second-degree child molestation.

As alleged in the criminal information, the defendant sexually assaulted a victim, under the age of 14, multiple times on a day and date between the November 2016 and November 2018.

The Coventry Police Department conducted the investigation.

The defendant is scheduled for arraignment on July 28, 2023, in Kent County Superior Court.
