On March 16, 2022, the Statewide Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Eva Lanoue with one count of first-degree arson, one count of third-degree arson, one count of insurance fraud, one count of obtaining money under false pretenses, and one count of giving a false document to an agent, employee or public official. The alleged acts occurred in the city of Warwick on various days and dates between April 1, 2018 and April 30, 2018. The Warwick Police Department conducted the investigation. The defendant was arraigned on March 21, 2022 in Kent County Superior Court.
