On January 24, 2022, the Statewide Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Francisco Vasquez with one count of first-degree sexual assault.

The alleged acts occurred in the city of Warwick sometime on or about March 6, 2021. The Warwick Police Department conducted the investigation.

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on February 11, 2022 in Kent County Superior Court.
