On September 25, 2023, the Statewide Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Reyson Antonio Leonor Uffre with one count of murder, one count of discharging a firearm while committing a crime of violence resulting in death, one count of carrying a pistol without a license, one count of possession of a ghost gun, and one count of possession of a high-capacity magazine.

The alleged acts occurred in the city of Providence on or about February 12, 2023. The Providence Police Department conducted the investigation.

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on October 11, 2023, in Providence County Superior Court.
