West Warwick man charged with child molestation

An indictment, information, or complaint is merely an allegation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. 

Attorney General Peter F. Neronha announced that a West Warwick man has been charged in Kent County Superior Court with second-degree child molestation stemming from his arrest on November 9, 2023.

On March 6, 2024, the Office of the Attorney General charged Justin Taylor (age 34), by way of criminal information with one count of second-degree child molestation.

As alleged in the criminal information, the defendant sexually assaulted a victim under the age of 14 on or about October 8, 2023.

The Warwick Police Department conducted the investigation.

The defendant is scheduled for arraignment on March 22, 2024, in Kent County Superior Court.
