Published on Thursday, October 05, 2023

An indictment, information, or complaint is merely an allegation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

Attorney General Peter F. Neronha announced that a Woonsocket man has been charged in Providence County Superior Court with multiple counts of second-degree child molestation stemming from his arrest on June 24, 2023.

On September 1, 2023, the Office of the Attorney General charged Nathan Ouimette (age 31), by way of criminal information with two counts of second-degree child molestation.

As alleged in the criminal information, the defendant sexually assaulted a victim, under the age of 14, multiple times between April 2016 and April 2020.

The Woonsocket Police Department conducted the investigation.

The defendant is scheduled for a pre-arraignment conference on November 2, 2023, in Providence County Superior Court.
