Cold Case Unit

The Rhode Island Office of the Attorney General’s Cold Case Unit works in conjunction with local police departments to resolve unsolved homicides in the State. These unsolved investigations include unidentified remains cases, which have resulted from homicidal violence. The Cold Case Unit seeks to provide answers and justice for the victims, their families, and the people of Rhode Island by investigating, resolving, and when possible, prosecuting those responsible for these crimes.
