Tariffs
On March 5, 2026, a coalition of 22 attorneys general and two governors filed a lawsuit in the U.S. Court of International Trade to block President Trump’s latest efforts to impose illegal tariffs on American consumers and businesses without congressional approval. We argue s that these actions by President Trump and his administration violate the law, upend constitutional separation of powers, and violate the Administrative Procedure Act.
